Building momentum

Every January comes with a rush of motivation — fresh planners, big goals, bold promises to ourselves. And then, life happens. Motivation fades. That’s normal.

Momentum is what actually carries you forward. It’s built through small, repeatable actions that don’t require perfect timing or constant enthusiasm. One decision leads to another, and over time, progress starts to compound — often before we even recognize it ourselves.

And it’s how lasting financial growth happens — not through sudden breakthroughs, but through steady movement. When you learn a little more, save a little more, and get more comfortable taking the next step.

Momentum doesn’t ask you to have everything figured out. It just asks you to begin.

As you move into 2026, Stackwell is here to help you build that momentum — with tools, guidance, and a clear path forward, even when the next step feels uncertain.

Have you checked out The Wealth Playbook?

If you’ve ever wondered whether you should be saving more, investing more, or somehow doing both at once — you’re not alone. That’s exactly what we cover in The Wealth Playbook, our latest Learning Playlist.

This interactive in-app learning experience breaks down the difference between saving and investing, when each one makes sense, and how inflation quietly affects the value of your money over time. It also introduces the basics of compound interest – not as a formula to memorize, but as a long-term force that rewards consistency and patience.

The goal isn’t to push you toward risk before you’re ready. It’s to help you understand how to protect your money’s purchasing power, align your strategy with your timeline, and make decisions that feel intentional rather than reactive.

If it’s been a while since you explored The Learning Center, The Wealth Playbook  is a good place to jump back in. The Wealth Playlist offers the context that helps everyday financial choices, from where you park your savings to how you think about growth, feel clearer and more confident.

Want to get started? Head to the app to check out our Learning Playlists.

Our community is growing

As the new year begins, the Stackwell community is already growing, and we want to extend a special welcome to our most recent additions: our first cohort of the Newark Nonprofit Wealth Project. These participants are Newark-based nonprofit employees who spend their days supporting others and strengthening their communities.

At Stackwell, we know that building a strong financial foundation isn’t just about dollars and cents — it’s about peace of mind. When you feel secure, you can show up fully for your work, your community, and yourself. That’s what this community is about: supporting each other as we build confidence, make intentional choices, and move toward the future we’re working toward.

Whether you’re brand-new to our community or have been around for a while, we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of your wealth-building journeys. We’re glad you’re here, and we can’t wait to see what we build together in 2026.
